AFRAN's mission is to create understanding of the world's French heritage through the arts and humanities.  The purpose of our programing is to present a historical and multicultural approach to arts and humanities, while interpreting the role French presence has played in the Middle West, particularly in the northwestern Minnesota.

2016 Annual Festival Aug. 26-28

Chautauqua & French-Canadian/Métis Festival is held the fourth weekend in August at Old Crossing and Treaty Park, Huot, Minnesota.  The festival features traditional music and dance, food specialties, artist and artisans, cultural education, and historical presentations.
